A sparkling Sunday morning singing with Lauri Amantovs and Raivos Stašāns! Yes, both musicians also sing and Lauris also plays the accordion! Two such packed concerts have already taken place on summer evenings, now it's time for the third concert in November, enjoying the autumn nature in a warm dome and sipping a mimosa cocktail (orange juice with sparkling wine) with light snacks and cake in between.

Lauris Amantovs & Raivo Stašans will play popular and beloved melodies. Let's sing along and enjoy a slightly nostalgic atmosphere.


The concert program includes a selection of the most beautiful Latvian songs:
Blue handkerchief,

Some beautiful flowers
Everything comes and goes into the distance
When I'm no longer 16
...and many other sweet songs.

We will print out the lyrics and distribute them to the audience so that everyone can add their voice to the Concert Dome mixed choir led by conductor Raivo Stašanas!

What to expect? Everyone will be able to sing along in the dome.

Raivi Stašans BIO: Academically educated professional saxophonist - graduated from the Jaz.Vitols Latvian Academy of Music. The first saxophonist in the history of Latvian music to graduate from the Jāz.Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. Regularly performs in Europe, and in recent years also in the USA, where he plays in various bands and big bands. Playing with musicians such as Ted Murdock (trp, LA, USA ex Ray Charles Big band), Isrea Butler (trb, NY, USA, Count Basie Orchestra) etc. He has also participated in many festivals both in Latvia - Rigas Ritmi, Saulkrasti Jazz etc., and abroad - Jazz Kaar, Rythm Riot, etc.

Lauris Amantovs BIO: Trombonist and bandleader
- Studied at the Rēzekne Music High School, studied jazz at Klaipeda University, the Latvian Academy of Music, and the Amsterdam Conservatory.
- Laureate of several international improvisation competitions.
- Participated in the recording of albums by many popular musicians
- Founder and leader of the Mirage jazz orchestra
