"Moon, Jazz, Romance" is a traditional jazz music program, which is designed as a journey through the Old World and sets itself the main task of awakening in the listener a poignant sentiment and nostalgic feelings about a musical era that remained only in the memories of a few and on analog records. The ensemble has existed since September 2021, but has already received international recognition during a concert tour in the spring of 2022 in Lisbon and Porto, Portugal, at the invitation of the Porto Cello Festival. Jazz (bebop) improvisation plays a special role in this concert program on a cello, which is an extremely rare phenomenon in Europe and currently the only case in Latvia .
