We have had both 2 saxophones and 3 saxophones and continuing this saxophone victory march - we invited four excellent saxophone virtuosos to the opening concert on April 5th at 2:00 PM.

Concert “Four Saxophones – One Music”
An outstanding musical event awaits, where four high-level saxophonists will meet on one stage - an ensemble full of virtuosity, experience and creativity. This concert will be a unique opportunity to experience music where classical and contemporary sounds intertwine with precisely crafted arrangements and unpredictable improvisation.
We will hear both virtuoso solo performances and listen to how the melody changes, complements and sparkles as saxophonists replace each other. We will also experience improvisations and co-creations – where there is a saxophone, there is fun, freedom and unpredictable musical magic. The program includes both Latvian and world-famous melodies that will appeal to a wide range of listeners.
Each of the artists is an outstanding professional. Their interplay will reveal the unlimited possibilities of the saxophone and create an atmosphere that will captivate any listener. From lyrical melodies to rhythmically explosive compositions – this concert is a celebration of the versatility of the saxophone.
Join us for an evening that promises to be full of energy, elegance, and musical adventures – the polyphonic dialogue of four saxophones will not leave anyone indifferent!

What to expect? Seating only, no tables. Enjoy a musical Saturday afternoon. We will offer tea, coffee, wine or sparkling drink and of course all your favorite country cakes during the break.
VIP seats at tables, each reservation has its own table with snacks from the local gourmet shop Lauva. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of wine or lemonade, which is already included in the concert price. During the break, we will share country cake and treat ourselves to coffee.
BIO Raivo Stašans: Academically educated professional saxophonist - graduated from the Jaz.Vitols Latvian Academy of Music. The first saxophonist in the history of Latvian music to graduate from the Jāz.Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. He regularly performs in Europe, and in recent years also in the USA, where he plays in various bands and big bands. Playing with musicians such as Ted Murdock (trp, LA, USA ex Ray Charles Big band), Isrea Butler (trb, NY, USA, Count Basie Orchestra) etc. He has also participated in many festivals both in Latvia - Rigas Ritmi, Saulkrasti Jazz etc., and abroad - Jazz Kaar, Rythm Riot, etc.
BIO Zintis Žvarts : saxophonist and music teacher. Works as a music teacher at school, performs in several bands, and is involved in many different musical projects.
BIO Arunas Viduolis - professional saxophonist, one of the leading contemporary musicians in Lithuania, jazz, pop and rock&roll performer, leader of various orchestras and ensembles. Founder of the Panevėžys Big Band! Regularly performs in Lithuania and throughout Europe.
