80s movie music + childhood taste = a perfect Saturday at Skrīveri Food Complex.

Do you remember "The Long Walk to the Dune", The Umbrellas of Cherbourg or the charming Pauline? Those were the times when unforgettable melodies sounded on television screens, but there was always Skrīveri Gotiņš in your pocket - the same one that tasted like childhood and free summers.

This concert is like a time machine that takes you back to the 80s.

For those who experienced those times, it will be a journey with nostalgic memories – of movie nights, of first dances, and of moments that live on in memories even today.

The program will feature:

Lauris Amantovs (trombone) and Viktors Ritovs (piano) will play, and their music will bring this legendary era to life.

What to expect? Enjoy a romantic Saturday afternoon with snacks provided by the gourmet shop "Lauva", where you will hear popular jazz melodies, music from popular movies. The concert will take place at tables and with seating, photos from previous events. A separate table with snacks is set for each VIP reservation. A snack plate, a glass of wine, tea and coffee are included in the price.

Before the concert, a tour is available (6 euros) , which is a great opportunity to learn about the history of the company, see the collection of candy wrappers and get acquainted with ancient tools. We offer a tasting, followed by a candy wrapping master class. There are demonstrations and training so that everyone can wrap their own special candy to take away. When the wrapping skills are mastered, everyone is issued a certificate as proof!

Lauris Amantovs BIO: Trombonist and bandleader
- Studied at the Rēzekne Music High School, studied jazz at Klaipeda University, the Latvian Academy of Music, and the Amsterdam Conservatory.
- Laureate of several international improvisation competitions.
- Participated in the recordings of many popular musicians' albums
- Founder and leader of the Mirage jazz orchestra
- Discography: My favorite things (Mirage jazz orchestra feat. G.Rozenbergs) Nordic Spring(Mirage jazz orchestra), Lullaby for trombone (Lauris Amantovs jazz quartet
- In addition to his jazz quartet and Mirage jazz orchestra, he plays with practically all the leading Latvian pop and jazz artists

Viktor Ritovs BIO: pianist, teacher

- Born on March 29, 1972 in Riga
- Studied at the Piano Department of the Latvian Academy of Music, obtained a master's degree under Professor Teofils Biķis, and supplemented his knowledge with jazz music studies at the Dutch Conservatory
- Is an assistant professor of piano and improvisation at the Riga Technical University of Latvia, lecturer at the jazz department of the Latvian Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
- Has led master classes in Oslo, Jurmala, Ventspils, Saulkrasti
- In 1995, he won first place at the International Jazz Pianist Competition in Vilnius and many others
- Plays in the Mārs Briežkalns Quintet, with whom he recorded the album Latvian Evergreens and not only, the Latvian Radio Bigband and the Lauris Amantovs jazz quartet.
