A romantic evening with a saxophone in a jazzy mood. Let's enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine and watch as the darkness covers the dome, allowing the candle flames to shine brightly. The dome has a fabulous atmosphere and excellent acoustics. Let's let the sounds of music enjoy the magic of the evening. If children listen to fairy tales, then what do adults listen to? Maybe true jazz stories on a summer evening, in a dome bathed in the setting sun?

The goal of “True Jazz Stories” is to bring the audience closer to the musicians, to allow the audience to ask questions, to talk and to look at music from the musicians' point of view. They talk about their journeys in the jazz world and how music has given them the opportunity to be friends, travel and meet a lot of different life situations on their way.

DENISS PASKEVICH
One of the leading Baltic jazz musicians – saxophonist, flautist, composer,
producer and teacher of contemporary improvisation and jazz music. He is one of the few artists from the Baltic region included in the European Jazz Family Tree, where he is mentioned as the founder of his own, unique style in Latvia. In his career, Deniss Paškevičs has recorded more than 80 albums, and the album “VARIATIONS” recorded in 2019
has received 4-star recognition from one of the world's most prestigious jazz magazines, DOWNBEAT.

NEFF IRIZARRY
American guitarist, charismatic personality, outstanding musician endowed with excellent guitar playing technique. A productive composer, whose compositions are included in the European jazz composition selection. As well as recently released, already internationally circulated and recognized “Latin Jazz” guitar playing technique textbook “CONTEMPORARY LATIN JAZZ GUITAR” which is unique in its category.

What to expect?
VIP places : Enjoy a romantic Friday evening with snacks provided by the gourmet shop "Lauva", where you will hear popular jazz and everyone's favorite romantic melodies. The concert will take place at tables, photos from previous events. A separate table with snacks is set for each reservation. A glass of wine, tea and coffee are included in the price.

BIO Deniss Paškevičs is a flutist, saxophonist, composer, producer, teacher and a prominent figure in Baltic jazz. He is one of the few Latvian jazz musicians whose name is included in the European jazz tree. He has received education in both classical and contemporary rhythmic directions. The album "Variations", recorded in 2019 together with Vyacheslav Ganelin and Arkadij Gotesman, has received a 4-star review from one of the most prestigious magazines "Downbeat" as "2019: The Year's Top-RatedAlbums". The album recorded by Deniss "Sonic geometry: structures, patterns, and forms sonic" has received several 4-star reviews on one of the well-known jazz music platforms - allaboutjazz.com.
During his career, Deniss Paškevičs has recorded more than 50 albums - many of which have been nominated for the Latvian Music Recording Award for Best Jazz Album of the Year and have also received awards in 2017 and 2019. He regularly performs with world-class players such as Randy Brecker, Seamus Blake, Aaron Parks, Tim Hagans and many others. Deniss has performed at many jazz music festivals around the world.
